Funeral Celebrant in Wanaka

A Personal and Meaningful Farewell

Sadly, everyone experiences loss at some point in their life. Grieving is never easy, and my aim is to help create the time and space you need to say goodbye to your friend or family member.

A funeral ceremony is an opportunity to celebrate a life, remember the person you have lost and share those memories with the people who loved them.

Supporting You Through the Funeral Process

Grief affects everyone differently, and there is no right or wrong way to say goodbye.

I will support and guide you through the funeral process, listening carefully to you and your family and helping to make the experience as smooth and manageable as possible during what can be an incredibly difficult time.

A Ceremony That Reflects Their Life

By working with you, your family and friends, and the funeral director, we will create a ceremony that is a memorable and fitting farewell.

I believe every person is unique, and the ceremony I write will be a bespoke tribute that reflects the personality, character and life of your loved one.

We can talk about the memories and stories that made them special and consider how best to include the things that meant something to them.

Music, Photographs and Special Memories

There are many ways to make a funeral ceremony personal.

We can discuss incorporating songs, readings, photographs, videos, memorabilia and other meaningful elements to create a true reflection of your loved one.

Whether the ceremony is traditional, simple, informal or completely unique, I will work with you to create a farewell that feels right for your family.

A Meaningful Goodbye

My role is to guide you through the ceremony and help you create a meaningful farewell that honours the life of your loved one.

I will take the time to listen, understand what is important to you and create a ceremony that celebrates their life and gives family and friends the opportunity to remember, share and say goodbye.

Thank you for what you did for us in your organising & execution of Kate’s service. I know we thanked you on many occasions, even as late as at the Hawea pub but I want to say it again: thank you so very, very much.

The three of us & many, many others, appreciate your ‘work’ but of course what you did wasn’t ‘work’ as such, it was much more. It was love in action & that’s what she wanted.
